Alex tends to be a bit of a troublemaker, though never in the malicious way. She's prone to looking for fun in life, love and her magic. She's also known for being a little lazy, if it can be done with magic the why not do it that way. She was a lot worse in her teens, and since nearly losing her powers has been a little more careful with taking the easy way out.
She'll also tell you that she's not a nerd, that's totally her brother Justin. But while she looks like the trendy, tomboy girl she is really smart. She would never say she's as smart as Justin, especially when it comes to book skills and research, but she didn't become the family wizard over Justin by slacking entirely off. She's quick to realize too, when she's gotten over her head, that she needs to ask for help and her usual go to for help is her brother. While they had to rival for the position of family wizard, she loves both her brothers dearly and would do anything for them.
APPEARANCE
Alex has dark brown hair that she normally styles loose around her face, sometimes with color streaked through it, and dark brown eyes that take after her mother. She's petite and slim in build, but she's more athletic than she appears. She's had to do a lot of running, climbing, jumping and fighting in her time as a wizard than you'd expect.
Alex tends to keep to the current styles but always tends to add her own flare to the outfit. She's also, despite enjoying wearing dresses and skirts, a bit of a tomboy. She's more comfortable in sneakers than heels and usually has a pair of leggings under her skirt or dress. She also loves her accessories, be it scarves, jewelry, and hats.
ABILITIES & SKILLS
Spellcasting
Alex is well practiced in spellcasting, both with her wand and without. She can manipulate time, natural characteristics of living beings, giving them supernatural powers or transform objects and people into other things. She can also create copies of herself or someone else.
Spell Improvisation
Even if she doesn't have the spell for something, Alex knows how to create or use spells in the exact moments she needs.

Alex has a natural affinity for the magic of the four classic elements.
Stealth and Pickpocket
Alex has picked up the ability to pickpocket easily, she's mostly used it to prank her brothers, but she's especially proud of this skill. As well, she can be incredibly stealthy when she puts her mind to it. It's not just that she can use magic to travel somewhere, but she's skilled at just sneaking up on someone or behind someone so they don't know she's there.
HISTORY
Alex is the middle child of three and the only girl. She grew up above her family's sub shop on Waverly Place in New York. Being the only girl, she was very much her father's little princess and got away with a lot growing up as both a girl and with her magic, that her brothers didn't always get to do themselves. Growing up, she and her siblings were trained in magic because their father came from a wizard family. For a long time, until she was fourteen, the siblings had assumed that her father had lost the Wizard competition and that's why he didn't have his powers anymore, because only one sibling in a family can inherit the powers. However, during a visit from her uncle, the family wizard for their generation, it was revealed that her father had in fact one and had been the family wizard. But wizards are forbidden from marrying non-wizards, so he gave his powers up to his brother in order to follow his heart.
Her oldest brother Justin was a long standing favorite for winning their generation's title of Family Wizard because he was incredibly smart and studious. However, when it came to the competition, Alex proved that while she'd had a lot of learning bumps along the way, she was as smart as Justin when it came to magic. Smarter still because while Justin was very rigid in following the rules, Alex knew how to adapt better to situations thrown at her and create solutions on the spot. It was her quick thinking and resilience that won her the title and the ability to keep her powers.
Justin was recruited after the competition to be Headmaster at Wiz Tech, and so the Wizarding Council granted him rights to his full wizard powers as well. So the only sibling among the three of them to become fully mortal was their youngest brother Max. Alex had a small hiccup after becoming the Family Wizard where the Wizarding Council nearly stripped her of her magic because of an accident that nearly had her evil double, technically half of her because she'd split herself in two when her family kept correcting her, taking over the world. She was able to stop her evil self by re-absorbing her bad parts and becoming whole again, and with her maturity of accepting the punishment the Council was able to see that she'd grown as a person and a wizard and allowed her to keep her powers.
